Primary duties include, but not limited to:

  • Coordinate with and manage daily activities of cross-functional team for successful execution of assigned projects or programs.
  • Establishes baseline time, cost and performance objectives to meet overall program scope.
  • Creates and controls program documentation such as program plans, tollgate authorizations, decision records, etc.
  • Works with internal and external customers on an on-going basis during the complete life-cycle of the program.
  • Ensure program and product requirements are established and controlled consistent with company processes.
  • Assess program risk and opportunities, establishes mitigation plans.  
  • Establish, track and analyze program performance metrics and take action to address issues and/or opportunities.
  • Understands product and program life-cycles and can manage efforts through the various phases.
  • Works closely with team to ensure meeting requirements & performance expectations.
  • Comprehend, communicate, and manage programs in alignment with business unit priorities.
  • Make sound/data-driven decisions to ensure program cost, schedule and performance targets are met.
  • Motivate, delegate and communicate clear & timely direction.
  • Identify and manage program resources and/or organizational conflicts.
  • Comprehend and execute programs in accordance with the company's quality management system.
  • Maintain objectivity and composure under pressure.
  • Lead with rapid agility to deal with shifting priorities, demands, and timelines.



  • ·         Experienced in advanced Project or Program Management concepts and has a minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in applying Project Management principles and processes in a technology development environment.
  • Must have experience successfully developing and managing programs in a fast paced deadline driven environment.
  • Experience in taking projects/programs from development and production into deployment is a plus.
  • Good communications skills with inter-disciplinary teams.
  • Must have experience in developing risk management and mitigation plans.
  • Must have managed developmental projects/programs with minimal guidance demonstrating an ability to successfully handle program issues and escalation appropriately. 
  • Ability to understand financial data and make program decisions to maintain budgets. 
  • Experience managing project/program variances or project/program performance indices.
  • Understanding of government defense contracting is a plus.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Good interpersonal and organization skills.
  • Experience in managing programs which also use outside resources; i.e. contract manufacturers, design houses, etc.
  • Have or able to obtain Security Clearance.
  • Experience managing contracts with DoD, and other Government agencies desired.
  • BS degree in Engineering required, MS Desirable.
  • Understanding of ISO9001 and/or AS9100 standards is a plus.
